About
Hi, I'm Joe. Nice to meet you.
I'm a photographer, husband, and the dad of a British Shorthair named Milo who watches me pack camera bags with quiet disapproval.
My route into weddings wasn't direct. Film school came first, then several years shooting fashion - for top model agencies across London and capturing video for cover and editorial shoots. I loved the work, but nothing quite prepared me for the first wedding I shot. There's a depth to it I hadn't found anywhere else - in the relationships, the history in the room, the emotion nobody's performing. Every couple gives you a chance to catch something genuinely vulnerable and keep it. It's a privilege to be trusted with that.
I shoot on a mix of 35mm film and digital. I still remember the first roll I got back from the film lab - I screamed. It looked nothing like anything I'd made before, and that feeling has never really left. Thirty-six frames means you stop firing and start choosing, and the images that come back reflect it.
The couples I photograph tend to be easy company. They care about fashion, travel, the details that make something feel considered. But more than anything they want the day to feel like theirs - relaxed and personal rather than something they had to perform.
If it sounds like we'd be a good fit, I'd love to hear about your day.
